A Virtual Visit to My Studio

My thanks to everyone for such kind and encouraging comments about my Aretha Franklin portrait!  She's almost done.....

Spent much of today learning how to make a video clip so that I could share some information with you, in case it is of interest, on how I gild with gold leaf, and possibly later on how I mix my egg tempera medium, demo-style.

Hope you enjoy this first one, an introductory visit to my studio, and let me know if you'd enjoy another clip.

Mona, what a wonderful idea. I enjoyed your first video, you did a great job. I am interested to see how you will apply the gold leaf to your panel, I've never seen it done. I've also never seen egg tempera mixed either, so that would be very interesting to see also! I will stay tuned!

Great intro to your gold gilding! Like Deb, I feel like I know you now. Realize how small that fruit tart is. Looking forward to seeing your next video! It would be great if you list the names of the materials again, such as glue, gold leaf, etc. I want to try that. :)
