Local tulips at Litchfield

tulips in Brooklyn's Prospect Park at the Litchfield Villa

More on my tulip painting of Giverny Gardens soon, but today on my walk I very much enjoyed these local tulips in the park on the hill at Litchfield.

Yes, it was beautiful there today Gail, and I'll post some more pictures of it soon.

Beautiful photo!
Something I think Monet would have love'd to have painted!
Myself included:)

Best wishes!

Very pretty Mona - I had to plant my tulips in a pot, because the mole and chipmunk who have taken up residence in my flower beds consider tulip bulbs a buffet. They are such beautiful flowers. I wish they stayed in bloom longer!

Thanks Dana and Deb. Have finished the Giverny miniature, and hoping to post some pictures later tonight or tomorrow.
