Surprise Commission After More Progress --(Shhh!!!)

Fantastic drawing!! I love her expression, and her cloth is so real. The baby girl looks familiar... Have you painted her before?

Beautiful Mona! When you use graphite, do you use the powder, stick or pencil form? I've only ever used the pencils, but I wonder if you get different effects with different forms.

Akiko, I painted this baby once before at an older age.

Deb, to answer your question, it's pencil, but since there are oil-based, charcoal and pastel pencils too, graphite just feels more descriptive of what kind of pencil.
