Laugh-out-loud, it's not my best week! My miniature painting magnifier decided it had had enough, and dropped it's lens during the night. Luckily, it did this without harming anything, and all of my miniatures are fine. I hope to be back in business in a few days with a new one!

It looks very very tired. Like a hunched over old man looking at his hat and wondering if he should be bothered to pick it up.
A magnifier, eh? Well that makes sense. My eyes were giving me all kinds of fits when I was working on that hummingbird aceo. Maybe I should try to find one. :-)
So this is one of your crews that have been helping you create amazing miniatures. I might get one myself.
I had the same feeling as you Sheila, lol! If anyone missed it, I did a post on the magnifier on Feb. 1. It can be purchased online by Googling 'flex neck magnifier' or 'goose-neck magnifier'.
Some styles clamp on a table with a clamp and some have lights in them, but I prefer this one for it's ease of use. Current prices are around $16 - $20.
There are days when I feel like dropping a lens or two myself!
Mona, I use good ol' reading glasses from the $ Store for a buck- different strengths for different needs. They work amazingly well- altho I look goofy with two pairs of glasses on my face, but then, who's to see me?
:-)
