Mona, Thanks for those wise words about miniature competitions. Someday, I hope to paint like you! In the meantime, I so enjoy watching your WIP's. And Mary definitely holds up as a larger painting, even when magnified. You've created such an excellent example of the genre here! I can't wait to see your works in person - and maybe you too! - at the D.C. show next month!

Mona, this is glorious! It was so nice to see it all come together. The floral print on the dress is exquisite!

Mona, this is just stunning!! I can't believe that you still find more work to do on this. This will be a winner; I know it. Good luck!

this literally took my breath away!!! simply stunning, so well done. you are amazing. is this done on panel? the only reason i ended up using linen canvas is because i'm a putz! i didn't even think it over. but i got really great advice, from you and Diana so next time I won't have any problems. Thanks for your comments on my blog. Your work still makes me sweat! Just incredible.

Exquisite, Mona! Thank you for sharing the process. She was already so beautiful but your additions of the tiny flowers on her dress and the reflections in the piano seat pulled it all together into a beautiful conclusion. Perfection!

What a lovely painting, Mona, I especially like the reflections on th epiano stool. A real vibrant picture. (By the way, you asked about the size of the Stationmaster painting. It's about 24 by 18 inches.x
